The hydraulic shears with oscillating knife beam are sound, heavily built machines. Design and construction guarantee a reliable functioning, precise cutting results and a long life span with little maintenance. The oscillating knife beam and the resulting clearance extend the longevity of the knives.  The extremely small cutting angle restricts the distortion during cutting both thin and thick plate material up to absolute minimum.

Double-Acting Sheet Support Device

Common Competitor Problems: The hanging of the plate due to its own weight results in a wrong cutting dimension or the plate passing underneath the back gauge. In addition, with traditional sheet-support devices, the support device remains fixed until after the cutting process has been complete resulting in rolled edges of material.

DERATECH Solution :The double-acting sheet support system supports the sheet so you can position it straight against the back gauge.  During the cutting process, the support arms descend parallel: the sheet remains supported entirely. Only after finishing the cut, the support arms descend entirely so the plate can glide to the back
