Machinery, a fast-growing national distributor of metal
fabricating machinery has immediate position for hands-on
technician with basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and
mechanical repair of machinery and components.Duties:
-Field service as well as telephone troubleshooting
assistance and warehouse duties including rebuilding and
refurbishing machines.
-Assist existing and new accounts by analyzing technical
support requests; planning travel schedule; performing
maintenance and technical support both on-site and on the
phone; resolving problems.
-Provide training at customer's location including start-up
assistance.
Travel/Location:
-Technician will be based at our facility in Belcamp, MD
only 10 minutes from Aberdeen Proving Ground.
-Out of town travel in the US and Canada will be part of the
job, although only a few days a month. Applicant
must be eligible for a U.S. passport.
Skills/Qualifications:
-Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
-Hands on experience with mechanical and electrical service
in the field under varying conditions a plus.
-Experience with metal fabricating machinery, and especially
plate rolls, angle rolls and ironworkers a plus.
-Must be familiar with Windows-based computers. Experience
with Apple computers a plus. Individual must be a good
communicator, as good customer relations is a crucial aspect
of the job.
