An Update on Roundo^® and SweBend:

In April 2016, following a bankruptcy and ownership transition, Roundo^® closed operations in Sweden.

Since that time, we have redirected our energy to continue to bring the world’s best bending rolls from Sweden with another manufacturer: SweBend.

Beginning in 2013, SweBend has emerged as a leader in plate and angle bending rolls from Sweden.  Located in Hassleholm, the same town as the original Roundo^®.

SweBend is headed by Peter Nilsson, who was the former Managing Director and Director of Technical Services at Roundo^®.  The staff at SweBend is composed entirely of former Roundo^® senior staff members, designers, engineers, technicians and assemblymen.

Peter and his team now proudly carry on their tradition of building bending rolls and specialty machines with world-famous Swedish quality and engineering that they learned during their time at Roundo®.  Essentially, these are many of the same folks who have engineered, designed and built the nearly 4,000 existing Roundo^® bending rolls our staff has handled and continue to support in North America

Customers are quickly seeing that the new choice in bending rolls is SweBend, as evidenced by the multi-million dollar backlog for SweBend machines.

What does this mean for current Roundo^® machine owners?

Trilogy Machinery made the commitment to support you and we will continue to make sure you have access to the parts and support to keep your machines running at full potential for years to come.

Trilogy owns many of the original manuals, order sheets and CNC documentation for the Roundo® machines, as well as in-depth technical notes from over 40 years of working with Roundo^® machines in North America. We have more experience servicing and supporting Roundo® machines than any one else.

In addition, during the Roundo^® bankruptcy process, we were able to acquire a massive 250,000 pound inventory of Roundo^® parts; almost 300 pallets.  We shipped the majority of them to our headquarters in Belcamp, MD and the rest remain in a warehouse in Sweden.  We made this investment to support our North American customers and dealers.

It is accurate to say that Trilogy Machinery now has the largest supply of Roundo^® OEM parts in the world. (We are obligated to advise you, however, that Roundo^® is a registered trademark of Boldrini S.R.L. and that Boldrini has not formally designated Trilogy Machinery as an authorized dealer or service provider for Roundo^® parts.)

What does this mean as a prospective machinery buyer?

We have shifted our focus to the SweBend product line and remain committed to offering bending rolls made in Sweden.  

We owe it to our customers to partner with suppliers that build the best quality machinery, customized solutions and offer the best possible after-sale service and support.
