Automatic Channel Processing System
The Sunrise Channel Line System – ACPS – is a versatile and fully automated channel line solution that efficiently processes channel webs from C3 to C6 without the need to change blades! It offers punching, shearing, and scribing capabilities, enhancing accuracy and productivity in metal fabrication applications.
Operation: The operator loads the channel onto the all-steel in-feed rollers; the system engages and pneumatically clamps the material, measures the length, and then processes the material by automatically punching the web and shearing (with a 1/2″ slug) to length utilizing the industrial strength rack and pinion drive system. When the bar is complete, the system will automatically retract, drop the scrap (as little as 6″), and move to the load position to repeat the process.

- Punching – Single High-Speed 38-Ton Punching Cylinder on Linear Rails
- Two independent punches – each programmable for web-only punching up to 1.5″ capacity and full tonnage.
- 3-4 second operation cycle time
- Positioning Speed: Up to 50′ per Minute – Variable Speed
- Accuracy: +/- 0.006″/ Foot
- Rack and Pinion In-Feed Length: 20′ Standard – Expandable to 50′ with machined steel tubes.
